On-demand indexing uses a special index that is designed just for Custom Search Engines. The main Google search indexing process is separate and uses different selection criteria, so pages in the on-demand index are not guaranteed to be included in the main Google index. Submitting pages for on-demand indexing will have no affect on ranking or indexing for Google.com.
